On-Board Poster Presentations
IMPORTANT: On- Board Poster presenters must bring a print of their poster at the Congress!!
Please note that posters will be presented in two shifts:
Shift 1: October 12, 2017 - October 13, 2017
Shift 2: October 14, 2017 - October 15, 2017
Posters in Shift 1 can
be set up anytime between 18:30-20:00 on October 12th, or from 09:30 onwards on
October 13th. Posters need to be removed at the end of the poster discussion session. Shift 1 Presenters are asked to stand beside their poster during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks on October 13th in order to answer questions.
Posters in Shift 2 can be set up from 09:30 onwards on October 14th. Posters need to be removed prior to the closing ceremony at 12:50 on October 15th. Shift 2 Presenters are asked to stand beside their poster during the morning and afternoon coffee breaks on October 14th in order to answer questions.
Poster presenters will be notified of their shift allocation at the beginning of August via email. If you do not receive your scheduling email, please contact us.
Please check the SIOP17 Mobile APP for the poster board number allocated to you. Please use the board with the same number.
Best Poster for Discussion Presentations
Parallel Best Poster for Discussion Sessions will be held in the Exhibition on October 13 between 18:40-19:50. All Congress participants are invited to the Best Poster for Discussion Sessions to hear the short presentations and to ask questions.
Presenters assigned to one of the Best Poster for Discussion Sessions should arrive at the Exhibition 10 minutes early and remain there until the session has finished.
On-Board Poster Preparations
On-board posters may be prepared on one sheet (preferred method) or alternatively on several smaller sheets.
Poster boards are landscape style. Maximum poster dimensions: 180cm width x 90cm height (6' x 3').
Allocate the top of the poster for the title and authors as stated on the submitted abstract.
The text, illustrations, etc. should be bold enough to be read from a two-meter (six foot) distance.
Tacks will be available for the mounting of posters. There will be a Poster Helpdesk onsite to assist you.
On-Line Poster Preparations
On-line posters must be submitted via the Congress poster uploading service. At the beginning of August, all on line poster presenters will contacted via email with their unique user name and password as well as a link to the poster uploading service. If you do not receive this email, please contact us.
Please note that on-line poster presentations must be submitted in PDF format. They must be limited to one page and no more than 7MB. On-line posters must be submitted in landscape orientation.
